Girl Impact

As a founding partner of this NGO, Messenger helped Girl Impact with its initial "wings", giving it a brand identity and a website that would help founders Leanne Nicolle & Jane Shaw pitch their idea of "Girls Helping Girls" to sponsors, donors and participants. A year later, Girl Impact was a fully fledged mentorship program, and had helped 12 Canadian girls under the age of seventeen to fundraise $50,000 to send 12 girls in Kenya to a good school. Parents, teachers and friends followed the blog we created as the girls travelled to Africa and successfully climbed Kilimanjaro. Girl Impact has since become a part of Plan Canada's "Because I am a Girl" program.
